The current owners, Julian and Linda Duxbury, have been at the shop since 1991 and aim to provide the best possible service to the local community.

This service includes supply to many local schools and businesses for which credit accounts and delivery are available. To obtain these services the shop should be contacted by phone or email.

The stock in the shop is over 5000 titles covering all subject areas including a children's department.

There are always many titles, including some of the current bestsellers, available at discount prices.

There is a large selection of books and maps relating specifically to Leicestershire.

The shop is renowned for its fast and efficient special order service for any book in print in the U.K. or U.S.A.:

1. Over 200,000 titles are available to order overnight.

2. Full details may not be needed to identify a title: we welcome vague enquiries!

3. No prepayment is usually required for local customers and we are happy to accept telephone orders.
